Corporate Governance

This programme focuses on good governance, which is critical for development, as it contributes to foster trust between citizens and the State, and also enhances implementation of public policies, and improves efficiency in the use of public resources. It concentrates on key governance reforms which are the cornerstones for effective governments.

Learning Outcomes

  • Participants will select the best combination of anticorruption tools to prevent and/or control corruption in priority areas.
  • Participants will determine which and how transparency initiatives can improve the use of public resources and enhance citizen participation
  • Participants will determine the scope and characteristics of citizen engagement tools best suited for their own initiatives, including target stakeholders, inputs needed, timeline, and engagement modalities.
  • Participants will understand the role and value of surveys and mixed methods approaches in developing actionable governance indicators.
