Managing Discipline

This course equips supervisors, managers, human resource practitioners, and team leaders with the knowledge and practical skills required to manage workplace discipline effectively, fairly, and in compliance with legal and organisational requirements. Participants will gain an understanding of the principles of progressive discipline, the management of employee misconduct and poor performance, disciplinary procedures, investigation techniques, documentation requirements, and the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders in the disciplinary process. The course also examines relevant labour laws, principles of natural justice, and best practices for conducting disciplinary hearings, enabling participants to promote professionalism, accountability, positive employee relations, and a productive work environment.
