Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
The Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (PM&E) Training Curriculum and Facilitator`s Guide was developed to build capacity of personnel assigned to perform Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Function in Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies. The training programme is expected to contribute to the implementation of the National Performance Monitoring and Evaluation System (NMES) across government institutions and agencies.
Learning Outcomes
- Participants should be able to develop performance frameworks for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation of plans, strategies, programmes and projects
- Participants should be able to develop or identify performance indicators for development interventions
- Participants should be able to develop baselines and set results targets for programmes
- Participants should be able to develop data collection and data management systems
- Participants should be able to develop tools and processes for operationalizing the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation function
- Participants should be able to produce or compile performance reports for policy and decisions
- Participants should be able to conduct and manage evaluations to demonstrate results.
